Boston Fire Lieutenant dies
BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Boston Firefighters Local 718 announced the Active Duty Death of Lt. Joseph Hurley on Sunday.
The union said that Hurley was assigned to the department’s HQ Officer Pool after being promoted from Ladder 24.
Hurley’s wake will be held at the Gromley Funeral Home on Dec. 30 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., while his funeral service will occur at Saint Theresa of Avila Church on Dec. 31 at 10 a.m.
