Boston man charged with illegal dumping in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A man from Dorchester was charged with illegal dumping at reservation near Blossom Road in Fall River.

According to officials, the 34-year-old was charged three counts of illegal dumping after an officer discovered a large pile of debris had been dumped in the reservation.

Officials said the pile was consistent with two additional piles of construction debris which had been dumped on July 24 and July 29 in the same general area.

Over the course of his investigation, officers were able to develop a suspect responsible for all three dump locations.

This individual was responsible for an ongoing renovation of a multi-family home in Fall River.

His identity will not be released at this time.

Police said they originally received a tip that a Dodge pickup truck had entered the reservation with a large trailer of debris.
