Boy in critical condition after water rescue in Lincoln

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Department of Environmental Management said Monday that a boy is in critical condition after a water rescue in Lincoln over the weekend.

The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Woods State Park.

Rhode Island State Police said the boy was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

No further information was immediately released.
