FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE)- There will not be any on-site ceremony at Patriot Place for Tom Brady on Wednesday, according to Patriot Place Public Relations.

Reports that Brady would sign a one-day contract at Patriot Place had surfaced on social media shortly after his retirement announcement on Tuesday.

“There is not any truth to the reports of a ceremony taking place on site tomorrow,” said a spokesperson from Patriot Place.
