Lawyers for the NFL were back in court Thursday attempting to reinstate Tom Brady’s four-game suspension.
They’re now arguing a lower court was wrong when it ruled they mishandled the investigation into the deflated footballs at a 2015 championship game.
During Thursday’s hearing, the appeals court gave a players’ union lawyer a tough time, saying evidence of ball tampering was overwhelming.
A decision may be weeks away. If they decide in the favor of the NFL, Brady will have to sit out the start of the upcoming season.
