Man killed in Taunton crash

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Police in Taunton are investigating a deadly single car accident.

It happened on Longmeadow Road around 6:30 p.m. Thursday night.

Police are not releasing many details at this point, but did confirm that a man died after crashing his car into a pole.

The car was left in a mangled mess after hitting the pole and being ripped open by jaws of life.

Police have not identified the victim yet.
