Breeze Airways adds new Florida routes for winter travel from TF Green Airport
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — As the first frost hit Southern New England on Thursday, Breeze Airways added two Florida routes from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport.
Breeze spokesperson Gareth Edmondson-Jones said it’s peak season for travel to Florida.
“Today we start three days a week Florida service to Vero Beach, which if people don’t know, is between West Palm and Orlando, it’s a great destination,” Edmondson-Jones said. “And then tomorrow, we start twice weekly to Jacksonville.”
Service to and from Vero Beach is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. For Jacksonville, service to and from is on Mondays and Fridays.
“With those two routes, we’ll be doing six Florida routes this winter,” he said.
Fares are available at a discount until Feb. 7, 2024.
Edmondson-Jones said there is no penalty if your travel date changes or if you need to cancel.
He said all Breeze sales are through its app and website, rather than a third party.
“Unlike if you book through a third party system, you may not hear from the airline, we have direct communication with all of our guests,” he said. “Should there be a weather issue or a schedule change, you’ll hear it straight away.”
