BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (AP) _ Bridgewater police say they’ve arrested 41 people following an out-of-control house party.

Chief Christopher Delmonte says officers responded to a call about a disturbance around 1 a.m. Sunday and saw people drinking and breaking items inside a house.

People began fleeing when they saw officers. Bridgewater State University Police were called in to assist. Police say many of the partygoers were under 21.

The home’s tenants, Juan Perez of Everett and Andrew Jucket of Bridgewater, both 21, were charged with offenses including keeping a disorderly house and disturbing the peace.

The others were arrested on various charges including being a minor in possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct.

They’ll be arraigned in Brockton District Court this week. It wasn’t known if they have lawyers.
