Brief delay in Aaron Hernandez trial because of juror’s note

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) _ The murder trial of ex-New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez has resumed after a brief delay over a note from a juror.
Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh began Thursday’s session by calling up lawyers and Hernandez to discuss the note.
She didn’t disclose its contents. Court resumed after about 15 minutes.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the June 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee.
A state police lieutenant is testifying Thursday about footprints left near Lloyd’s body.
Hernandez’s barber, Roberto Olivares, is also expected to testify Thursday. Olivera was with Hernandez and Lloyd at a nightclub two nights before the killing. He was also out with Hernandez and others for drinks to celebrate Father’s Day a few hours before Lloyd was killed.
