Bristol County CC evacuated after bomb threat

By News Staff
The Fall River campus of Bristol County Community College was briefly evacuated Thursday after campus police reported receiving a bomb threat.
The call came in just around 3:05 pm, and school officials immediately utilized their emergency notification messaging system to evacuate the campus.
Although the threat only mentioned one building, which houses the library, school officials ordered that the entire campus be evacuated for safety purposes.
After a sweep of all buildings, campus security declared it was safe to return and all was back to normal within a half hour.
