Bristol County DA identifies teenage victim in deadly New Bedford shooting

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The teenager who was shot and killed in New Bedford Tuesday has been identified.

The Bristol County District Attorney has identified the 19-year old man as Jordan Roman of New Bedford.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday night on Acushnet Avenue.

The DA said Roman was shot in the head while in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.

He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

No suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
