Bristol County DA’s Office determines Raynham shooting deaths to be murder-suicide

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III said a double shooting in Raynham has been determined to be a murder-suicide.

On Aug. 8, 37-year-old Marie Hunt and 35-year-old Mark Henshaw were found dead in the bed of a home they lived in on Elm Street West.

Hunt had a gunshot wound to the abdomen while Henshaw had a gunshot wound to the head.

According to Quinn, the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Hunt’s death was a homicide and Henshaw’s death was suicide.

Two children were inside the home, but were not hurt, according to Quinn’s office.

Massachusetts State Police and Raynham police are investigating the shooting.
