PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — A shameless attempt at a catalytic converter theft was all caught on camera in Plainville on Sunday during broad daylight.

The owner of Emerald Square Limo shared the video with ABC 6 News Tuesday, where the thief is seen jumping into an SUV with tinted windows and speeding off after an employee pulled into the parking lot.

The owner said the suspect did not have time to cut off both sides of the converter.
