BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A Brockton man accused of murder will face a judge Tuesday.

Plymouth district attorney Timothy Cruz says on April 6th, 45-year-old Vasco Semedo was driving on North Main Street, when he allegedly hit a pedestrian.

Semedo then allegedly backed up over the pedestrian, got out, and hit the man with a brick over 20 times.

The victim, 50-year-old Stuart Smith, was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
