Brockton Police identify suspect arrested in Sunday shooting

BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Brockton Police have identified the main suspect who was arrested in Sunday’s shooting that injured a woman.
27-year-old Jonathan Alves and two others were arraigned today in connection with an early morning shooting on Falconer Ave.
Alves faces an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charge, assault to murder, and several other charges.
The two others, identified as 26-year-old Naldo Barbosa and 42-year-old Aylson Correia Castro, will face an unlawful possession of ammunition charge, and unlawful possession of a firearm with an FID Card.
The woman who was shot in the chest Sunday was transported to a Boston hospital.
