Brothers arrested on drug, guns charges

Providence Police have arrested two brothers after finding two guns in a drug investigation.

Police say 19-year-old Anthony Dwyer was selling molly from his Hawkins Street residence, and was also driving his car unregistered with a suspended license.

After obtaining a search warrant, police arrested Dwyer and seized a stolen 12-gauge Mossberg shogun and a silver .22 caliber revolver, along with molly, pills, marijuana, and $700 in counterfeit money. 

Dwyer was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of possession with intent to deliver MDMA, one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, one count of conspiracy, two counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and one count of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Also charged was Anthony’s brother, 25-year-old Raymond Dwyer, with two counts of possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of possession with intent to deliver MDMA, one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, one count of conspiracy, two counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and one count of possession of counterfeit bills.
