Brown Leading Scorer Dylan Molloy Sidelined With Foot Injury, Likely To Miss NCAA Quarterfinal

Providence, R.I. – Brown junior All-American attackman Dylan Molloy (Setauket, NY), the Ivy League Player of the Year and a finalist for the Tewaaraton Award as the nation’s top player, is likely to miss Brown’s NCAA Quarterfinal Tournament game vs. Navy on Saturday, May 21, due to injury.

Molloy suffered a foot injury in Brown’s NCAA First Round win over Johns Hopkins last Saturday.

Molloy is the nation’s leader in points and assists, and his 114 points (60 goals, 54 assists) in 2016 rank fourth best in NCAA lacrosse history.

#4 Brown is hosting the NCAA Quarterfinal doubleheader at Brown Stadium.  The Bears will face Navy at 2:30 pm.  #1 Maryland will play #6 Syracuse in the first Quarterfinal game, starting at 12 noon.
