Brown’s Dylan Molloy Named Ivy League Player Of The Week

Providence, R.I. – Junior All-American attackman Dylan Molloy (Setauket, NY) was named the Ivy League Player of the Week after registering nine goals and seven assists in two games, leading #3 Brown to identical 19-8 wins over #5 Villanova and Princeton.
Molloy, the nation’s leader in points (6.38 per game) and assists (3.25 per game), scored three goals and handed out two assists in Brown’s showdown victory over #5 Villanova on Tuesday.
He then exploded for six goals and five assists (11 points) in Saturday’s Ivy League win over Princeton. With the Bears clinging to a 7-6 lead at the half against the Tigers, Molloy took over the game, netting Brown’s first two goals to open the second half and scoring five goals overall in the third quarter to spark a 9-2 Brown run and lift the Bears to a 16-8 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Molloy, the 2015 Ivy League Player of the Year, has scored 25 goals and distributed 26 assists for the season.
The Bears host Bryant on Tuesday, April 5 at Stevenson-Pincince Field, starting at 7:00pm. Brown head coach Lars Tiffany is buying hot chocolate for all fans in attendance. A voucher will be given to all fans upon entry.
