Bruins’ Patrice Bergeron placed in COVID-19 protocol

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE)- Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron was placed into COVID-19 protocol on Wednesday morning, the team announced.

Bergeron became the third Bruin to enter protocol, joining Brad Marchand and Craig Smith.

The Bruins will play next when they visit the Islanders on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
