Bryant Bulldogs Back in the Top 25

Bryant news release…

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Off to its best start in Division I history, the Bryant University football team is back in the national rankings, coming in at No. 25 in the most recent FCS Coach’s Poll released on Monday.

The appearance in the national poll is the second for the Bulldogs this season after they made their debut at No. 25 on Sept. 15. Bryant is joined in the national poll by reigning Northeast Conference champ No. 22 Sacred Heart. It is the first time in league history that two teams have been nationally ranked in the same week.

Bryant faced one of its toughest non-conference schedules in program history and passed with flying colors, going 4-1. The Black and Gold opened league play last weekend with a 42-27 victory over Saint Francis U.
