Building in Uxbridge collapses, road closed nearby

UXBRIDGE, Mass. (WLNE) — The Uxbridge Fire Department said that a building on Main Street partially collapsed.

The roof of the building caved in around 9 p.m. on Dec. 11, and two occupants were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The department said that Mendon Street will be closed until more assessment of the collapse due to a “concern of falling brick near that corner of the building.”

One of the building’s owners said the collapse led to flooding on the building’s ground floor.
