Blustery, Sunny, and Cold!

Don’t let the sun fool you today.  It’s cold!  Bundle up!  After the passing of the strong cold front, temperatures have tumbled and the wind is quiet gusty.  Today we’re enjoying plenty of sunshine much of the day with temperatures in the upper 40s.  Normal high is 56 for Providence.  Wind chill values will remain in the 40-degree range throughout the day.  You will need the hat, gloves, scarves, and a nice warm coat.  Cloud will fill in overnight as another system moves in from the west with showers around midnight with a low of 32.  We may see mixed precipitation over the higher terrain in the interior.  Thursday will feature plenty of cloud cover with a round of showers moving through from noon to mid afternoon.  Temperatures in the mid-40s.  As of Friday will enter a niche stretch with cool and dry conditions through the weekend and early next week.
