PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ A Burrillville man facing a murder charge after a Massachusetts man was found dead under newly poured concrete at his home has been held without bail.

Thirty-nine-year-old Steven Pietrowicz was arraigned Monday in Providence District Court and charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and obstruction of a police officer. A bail hearing was scheduled for June 15.

The body of 60-year-old Domingo Ortiz, of Worcester, was found Friday under newly laid concrete beneath an outside deck where Pietrowicz lived. Ortiz had been missing since May 5, when he was last seen at the Burrillville house.

40-year-old Michelle Morin was arrested on Saturday in Worcester in connection with Ortiz’s death. On Monday, she waived extradition and agreed to be returned to Rhode Island to face a murder charge.
