Buttonwood Park Zoo offering elephant poop as part of fundraiser auction

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Buttonwood Park zoo’s Zoolala fundraiser is offering elephant poop as an item up for auction.

The zoo said “Elephant Gold Garden Booster” is “a supercharged fertilizer packed with essential nutrients that are perfect for enriching soil and promoting robust growth.”

The online auction has run for four years and is offering a wide variety of other items, including an opportunity to meet red panda’s, a tour of the veterinary facility, and gift cards to local restaurants.

The auction runs until June 27 and will conclude with a gala.
