California man accused of cyberstalking nine women, including RI and Mass. residents

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The FBI has arrested a California man for allegedly stalking several women over the internet, including residents of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

According to the U.S. District Court in Rhode Island, Joseph Glauthier, 30, harassed at least nine women using information he found about them online.

He’s accused of making explicit phone calls to them and threatening them if they didn’t stay on the phone.

He now faces charges including cyberstalking and interstate threats to injure.
