Cannabis Control Commission extends COVID protocol while MA ends state of emergency

WORCESTER, Mass. (WLNE) – The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission announced today it will be keeping its COVID-19 protocol for a little longer, despite Governor Charlie Baker ending the state of emergency this week.
The Commission has extended its pandemic operations until September 1.
Those operations include:
- Curbside Operations
- Virtual Community Outreach Meetings
- Telehealth (telephone and live video) to facilitate patient access to medical services
The Cannabis Control Commission oversees the medical marijuana industry in Massachusetts.
