Car, bicyclist collide in Providence

PROVIDENCE R.I. (WLNE) — A part of Broad Street in Providence was closed off Monday night after a car and a bicyclist collided.

ABC 6 News crews were on the scene around 8 p.m. where a bicycle could be seen partially underneath a Honda sedan.

Crews observed blood on the ground near the scene but information regarding a victim was not immediately available.

The portion of the road that was closed reopened shortly after 8:30 p.m.

ABC 6 has reached out to Providence police for more information and are waiting to hear back.
