Car causes damage after striking building in Woonsocket

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A car caused damage to the front of a Woonsocket convenience store after driving into it on Friday.

Woonsocket police said that a woman in her late 60’s suffered a medical issue when she struck the City Star Market on Winter Street.

There were no injuries from the crash.

ABC 6 News crews on scene saw heavy damage to the door and wall at the store’s entrance.
