Car crash causes gas leak in Central Falls

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — A car struck a meter at a home on Lincoln Avenue this morning in Central Falls.

According to Rhode Island Energy, Central Fall firefighters evacuated 25 to 30 residents from the affected house and surrounding homes.

The gas was secured by 7:30 a.m.
