Car crashes into the water off I-95 South

WARWICK, R.I (WLNE) – Emergency crews are on the scene of a car crash where the car ended up in the Pawtuxet River.

The accident happened on I-95 South Bound near Airport Connector Road before 6:00 a.m.

One person was pulled from the car.

The extent of the person’s injuries and the cause of the crash is not known at this time.
