Car towing trailer crashes into garage in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – One man was injured after crashing his car through a garage Friday afternoon in Pawtucket.

Pawtucket Fire Department said a call came in around 2:00 p.m. for a crash on Power Road.

First responders located an SUV that had crashed through a telephone pole and into a garage at a Power Road home.

The SUV was towing a trailer at the time of the crash.

Authorities said the garage suffered extensive damage and may be a total loss.

The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries. 

 The driver passed out behind the wheel and lost control of the vehicle, according to Battalion Chief Steve Tanguay.
