Cat café reopens in partnership with RISPCA

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Bajah’s Cat Café reopened on Jan. 11 in partnership with the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals a month after 18 cats were removed due to lack of proper permits.

RISPCA said that the café will showcase adoptable cats via meet and greets, with the shelter then processing adoption applications.

“Our Cat Behavior Specialist will visit the café regularly to consult and to bring in new cats as others get adopted,” the shelter said.
