BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE)- The Boston Celtics signed veteran guard Dennis Schröder to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

The newest Celtic announced that he’d signed with the green in an Instagram post.

“I’m proud to announce that for the 2021-22 season I’ll be playing for the Boston Celtics,” the post read.

The contract is reportedly worth $5.9 million, the Celtics’ entire taxpayer mid level exception.

Schröder averaged 15 points and 6 assists per game for the Los Angeles Lakers last season.

Boston will be the German guard’s fourth stop in his NBA career.

“I’m going out there every night and leaving it all on the floor for the city,” he concluded.
