Censea recalls shrimp due to potential Salmonella contamination

Providence, R.I. — The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) is advising consumers that Censea is recalling its Headless Shell on Black Tiger Shrimp because of the potential for Salmonella contamination.
The brand, A-PAC 8/12 Headless Shell on Balck Tiger Frozen Shrimp, was distributed to restaurants and retail stores in multiple states including Rhode Island, New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
RIDOH is reaching out to Rhode Island retailers and restaurants to make sure they are aware of this recall.
There have been no illnesses reported as a result of consuming these products to date.
Anyone who purchased this product should dispose it and contact Censea for a full refund.
