Central Falls brothers arrested for beating man in front of his children

Albaro Morales, 39, and Angel Morales, 27, were arrested by Central Falls police this morning after allegedly beating a man in front of his two children.
The victim professed to being beaten with both fists and a firearm on Tuesday, causing injuries to his face and forehead. He fled the area and informed the police, who began an investigation.
Both suspects were arrested at 60 Sylvan Street in Central Falls, located in the second and third floor apartments. They were placed into custody without incident, and then transported to the 6th District Court for arraignment.
The Morales brothers were charged with felony assault with a dangerous weapons and conspiracy. Bail was originally set at $50,000 with surety, but they were ordered to be held as Superior Court Violators from previous felonies.
Their next scheduled court date is March 31.
