CF Native Viola Davis wins SAG award

Central Falls native Viola Davis now has a new accomplishment to add to her resume.

The 49-year-old actress brought home a Screen Actors Guild award last night.

Davis won the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series for her leading role in the ABC program “How to Get Away with Murder.”

This marks Davis‘s third SAG award. In 2011 she brought back two SAG awards for her role in “The Help.”
