Charlestown to discuss ‘second amendment sanctuary’ resolution at town council meeting

CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Monday night in Charlestown, the town council is slated to discuss an ordinance that would make the town a quote “second amendment sanctuary.”

According to RI Gun Rights, Charlestown will be the 13th municipality in the Ocean State to adopt a resolution opposing gun control.

The council’s meeting is 7 p.m. at Charlestown Elementary School.
