Charlotte Lester murder suspect to remain held without bail

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Mark Perkins, the suspect long thought to be behind the disappearance of Charlotte Lester in 2022, will remain incarcerated without bail.

Lester’s remains were found in November by a hunter in the woods near the Exeter-West Greenwich line.

She was reported missing in 2022.

Perkins is charged with first-degree murder and his case picks back up June 10.
