Chelsea Priest takes the stage

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — ABC6 News Morning Meteorologist Chelsea Priest appeared in a local Christmas play Saturday night where she played herself in Ant’ny Claus 2: A Dysfunctional Family Sequel at the Academy Players of Rhode Island.

The play is about Santa Claus’ younger brother Ant’ny who causes mayhem when he crashes his sleigh into a home in Johnston on his way back from delivering toys.

Priest even got to help pen a joke about a family member who gets her name wrong when she comes to visit.

“We were gonna call her Chelsea nun and she goes, no no, I told my mother Chelsea Rabbi and I said alright that’s cool. So she’s already changing the script, I can’t believe this girl,” said Director Frank O’Donnell.
