20-year-old Chepachet native Jared Donaldson winning his first round match at the U.S. Open Monday. The 51st-ranked player in the world Donaldson defeating Nikoloz Basilashvili of Georgia, 6-0, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6. Donaldson advances to face 16th-ranked Lucas Pouille in the second round.
