Child struck by vehicle in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Police Department said a 5-year-old suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Thursday.

The juvenile was hit around 3 p.m. on Boylston Street and was taken to the hospital with injuries that police said were not life-threatening.

The vehicle first left the scene but then returned.
