CHOP restaurant officially opens at Providence Public Library

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — CHOP, the Culinary Hub of Providence, has officially opened at the Providence Public Library.

The ribbon cutting marked the launch of the innovative space, which serves as both a restaurant and a training ground for culinary students from the Genesis Center.

In collaboration with the Genesis Center, CHOP will serve as a hands-on training facility for students in the culinary arts, while offering a dynamic menu that highlights the flavors of “Rhode Island’s diverse food scene.”
