City of Pawtucket announces detours for temporary closure of Beverage Hill Avenue

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The City of Pawtucket announced detours in preparation of a scheduled road closure on April 17.

According to the Pawtucket Mayor’s Office, a portion of Beverage Hill Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for pipe repairs.

During this time, there will be two detours set in place.

Traffic will be shifted through Pawtucket by George Bennet Highway, Columbus Avenue, and Newport Avenue.

Traffic through East Providence will be shifted through Pawtucket Avenue, New Road, and Newport Avenue.
