City of Warwick puts up warning signs at Conimicut Point Beach after drowning of 10-year-old girl

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- Warning signs at Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick were installed on Wednesday, following the drowning of a 10-year-old girl last month.
The signs warn of the dangerous tides at the sandbar that extends out from the beach.
There is a QR code on all of the signs that beachgoers can scan, which will take them to the city’s website.
On the website, the city lists of the many dangers of the tides in several different languages.
The signs were donated by Bori Graphix in Warwick.
