Classical High Star Patrick Welch Wins Two Matches at the Junior Ryder Cup

Classical High School junior Patrick Welch won both his matches on day one of the Junior Ryder Cup in Edina, Minnesota.  Welch teamed with Eugene Hong to win the morning foursome match, 1-up.

Welch then played with Lucy Li to win the mixed four match in the afternoon, 4 and 3.  Welch helped the U.S. take a 7 to 5 lead after the opening day.  The U.S. needs two points on Tuesday to win the Junior Ryder Cup.
