FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be performing overnight drainage structure cleaning and sweeping operations on the Braga Bridge.

The work, which started Tuesday night, will occur between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday morning.

MassDOT said the operation will require the temporary lane and shoulder closures on I-195 eastbound and westbound.

Only one travel lane will be taken at any time and a minimum of two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times.

Traffic will be controlled by a state police detail.

The department said drivers should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
