Clouds hang tough through week’s end, but sunshine awaits this weekend

A few rain and/or snow showers are possible tomorrow night into Friday morning

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Sunshine has been hard to come by this month. More than half of January has featured either cloudy or mostly cloudy conditions.

Skies remain cloudy tonight, but at least it won’t be as cold, with temperatures close to 30°.  Thursday will feature mild temperatures in the mid-40s, but with continued cloudy conditions.

A front will approach from the north late tomorrow and bring some rain or snow showers into early Friday morning. Skies remain on the cloudy side for Friday.

Things finally get brighter this weekend – after 10 straight cloudy days, sunshine aplenty is expected. Temperatures will be seasonably chilly (mid-30s.)
