Club Balloons Closed Pending Full Hearing

 Club Balloons is closed pending a full license board hearing next week following a recent murder outside of the club.

The board decided to close the club, but the owners will voluntarily close as a sign of good faith until the full board meeting.

Providence officials are going to host a hearing they hope will result in the closure of a nightclub,
one that's seen two murders in as many years.

Wednesday, the city solicitor is going to ask the licensing board for an emergency closure of Club Balloons, pending a license revocation hearing.

A man was shot to death outside of the club over the weekend. The club was the scene of another deadly shooting two years ago.
