Coast Guard responds to fishing boat that ran aground on Cape Cod

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The United State Coast Guard said it responded to a fishing boat that ran aground on a beach on Cape Cod Friday.
The coast guard said the Miss Megan ran aground around 2:30 a.m. at Ballston Beach in Truro.

At 2:30 a.m., USCG Sector SE New England received notification from the fishing vessel Miss Megan with 3 people onboard.

No injuries were reported, and after the ship was towed to New Bedford around 5:30 p.m. after it was determined that there was no pollution as a result of the grounding.
