Cold front brings clouds to Southern New England

What a treat, waking up to sunshine on this Wednesday morning! Enjoy it for now, because a cold front will drive more clouds through the area in the late morning and afternoon. Otherwise, it’ll be a breezy day with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.

After our front passes, cooler, drier air takes hold of Southern New England. We’ll wake up to lows in the low 40s and upper 30s on Thursday morning! Bundle up as you’re heading to work/getting the kids off to the bus. The afternoon will be cool for this time of year as well– highs will top out in the mid 50s.

Thursday night/early Friday morning, a disturbance offshore will bring some scattered showers to the Cape and Islands. As for us? We’ll just have a few clouds before more sunshine on Friday afternoon.

The weekend is looking great! Expect highs in the mid 60s with sunshine on Saturday. Sunday will be warmer with highs in the mid to upper 60s. We’ll have plenty of sun, but clouds creep in during the second half of the day.
